Have you always dreamed of a keyboard that turns your iPad into a true laptop? Apple has released its Magic Keyboards for the Air and Pro models, but these accessories often remain out of reach financially. Fortunately, Woot is offering an exceptional deal: discounts up to 50% with a 90‑day warranty. In this article we detail everything you need to know before buying so you can fully enjoy this opportunity without surprises.
1. Introducing Apple Magic Keyboards
The Magic Keyboards are designed to deliver a smooth tactile experience and sleek design. Each keyboard features an integrated trackpad, a rechargeable battery, and a stand that keeps the iPad at the ideal angle. The most affordable version targets the 13‑inch iPad Air (M2, M3 or M4), but there are also models for the 11‑inch and 12.9‑inch iPad Pro.
Technical Specifications
The keyboards include a full QWERTY layout, an Escape key and a “Command‑Space” shortcut for Spotlight search. The battery provides up to 10 hours of video playback or 12 hours of intensive use. Materials are premium: anodized aluminum and recyclable plastic.
2. Where to Find Discounts on Woot
Woot, known for its flash sales, regularly offers Magic Keyboards at slashed prices. The site clearly displays the original price (e.g., $319) and the reduced rate (often between $150 and $170). The promotion is valid as long as stock remains available, so act quickly.
Purchasing Process
Sign up on Woot, add the item to your cart, and complete checkout. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the tracking number. Shipping fees are generally free for premium members.
3. Warranty and Offer Limitations
A key point of this promotion is the 90‑day warranty offered by Woot, covering material defects or major malfunctions. However, AppleCare does not apply to these products, meaning you’ll rely on Woot’s technical support if a problem arises.
“The 90‑day warranty applies only to items purchased through Woot and cannot be transferred to another retailer.”
4. Product Condition: New or Refurbished?
Woot states that each keyboard is in “pristine condition,” with no visible signs of use. This suggests they are certified refurbished, but sellers do not always specify exact provenance. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
5. Price Comparison: Woot vs Other Retailers
On Amazon or the official Apple site, a Magic Keyboard typically costs between $319 and $349. In comparison, Woot offers models at less than half price, saving roughly $150 to $200 per keyboard. Here’s a quick comparison table:
- Apple Store: $319
- Amazon (used): $279
- Woot (promo): $149–$169
6. Usage Tips and Additional Accessories
Once you receive your keyboard, take time to calibrate the trackpad and update firmware via the iPadOS app. You can also add a magnetic stand to keep the iPad stable when used in clamshell mode.
Recommended Accessories
To optimize your experience, consider buying an anti‑shock case compatible with the Magic Keyboard and a 30W USB‑C charger. These accessories will extend the keyboard’s lifespan while protecting your device from impacts.
In conclusion, taking advantage of a substantial discount on Apple Magic Keyboards via Woot is an excellent way to equip your iPad at an affordable price. Don’t forget to verify the 90‑day warranty and understand that AppleCare does not apply. If you’re ready to act, head over to Woot now to seize this offer before it disappears.
